Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute is one of the first 15 sites nationwide and the first hospital in Western New York to have commercial access to TriClip™, which marks a revolutionary shift in treating patients with a leaky tricuspid valve, or tricuspid regurgitation (TR), eliminating the need for open-heart surgery.

This community care management platform will advance collaborative efforts to integrate systems, share data seamlessly and optimize patient care.

Hospitals here and across the country continue to migrate services out of brick and mortar to outpatient settings in the community.

1000th LAAO Procedure Marks History for GVI
