Nursing Orientation

Comprehensive, competency-based nursing orientations are offered monthly. Our clinical education team ensures that all Kaleida Health nurses have the information, training and resources they need to provide the best care and to grow professionally with full support from colleagues and leadership.

Clinical nurse educators are available on all shifts and foster enthusiasm for learning through a process that is collaborative, multidisciplinary, evidence-based and supported by professional standards. Classroom and online learning, a simulation skills lab, unit-based clinical orientation and specially trained preceptors are just a few of the methods we use to educate our new nurses.
