Do General Physician patients need to verify insurance coverage before having a hospital procedure performed?

Yes. Please note if you are having a procedure performed at a hospital, patients should contact their insurance company to ensure your plan is also participating (PAR) with the hospital. Otherwise, the hospital will hold you responsible for payment.

How do I get my previous provider to release my medical records to General Physician?

If you’re a new patient with General Physician, we encourage you to contact your current provider’s office and request any forms needed prior to your appointment. This will help speed up the check-in process so you can see your provider in a timely manner.

Does my doctor’s office close for any holidays?

Yes. All General Physician offices will be closed in observance of the following holidays:
