Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Kaleida Health

Specialized care for complex and high-risk pregnancies. Kaleida Health’s Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Centers provide advanced care for pregnancies requiring additional monitoring or specialized expertise. Board-certified maternal-fetal medicine specialists work closely with your OB provider to support both mother and baby.

A Straightforward Registration Process

Make your maternity experience as easy as possible. Complete the pre-admission registration form for all of our birthing hospitals at the mid-point of your pregnancy (approximately 20 weeks).

Our Pregnancy & Childbirth Education Classes are designed to guide and support you every step of the way.

Kaleida Health offers a variety of in-person and virtual classes led by experienced clinicians and educators. These programs help build confidence, reduce anxiety and prepare families for pregnancy, childbirth and life with a new baby.

Baby Basics and Beyond

Practical tips for feeding, bathing, sleep safety and newborn development to ease the transition into parenthood.

Birthing Basics for Busy Parents

A one-day, streamlined version of the Prepared Childbirth series, ideal for families with limited schedules.

Prepared Childbirth

A comprehensive three-week series covering pregnancy anatomy, labor and delivery, pain management options, Cesarean birth, postpartum recovery and relaxation techniques.

Breastfeeding Education

Guidance on latch, feeding patterns, pumping, milk storage and balancing breastfeeding with work and home life.

Postpartum Classes & Support Groups

Ongoing support during the postpartum period, including Mom’s T.E.A.R.S., a professionally led emotional support group.

Nurture and Play (NaP)

An evidence-based mother–infant bonding program that supports emotional connection, confidence and early development.
