MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)

A safe, painless imaging test that uses powerful magnets and radio waves to create detailed pictures of the inside of your body, helping doctors diagnose and monitor many conditions.

Ultrasound

A safe, painless imaging test that uses sound waves to create real-time images of organs, tissues and blood flow inside the body.

Nuclear Medicine

An imaging specialty that uses small amounts of radioactive material to show how organs and tissues are functioning, helping doctors diagnose and monitor disease.

CT (Computerized Tomography)

A test that uses x-rays and advanced computer technology to create detailed cross-sectional images of the body, helping doctors quickly diagnose injuries and medical conditions.

CTA (CT angiography)

A specialized CT scan that uses contrast dye to create detailed images of blood vessels, helping doctors detect blockages, aneurysms or other vascular conditions.

Mammogram

An x-ray of the breast that uses low-dose radiation to produce an image of the inner breast tissue for early detection of breast cancer. Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital is a Pink Ribbon Facility, one of an elite group of healthcare facilities around the country providing 3D tomosynthesis digital mammography.

X-ray

Fast, painless imaging test that uses a small amount of radiation to create pictures of bones and certain tissues to help diagnose injuries and medical conditions.

Dexa Bone Density Scan

A quick, painless test that uses low-dose x-rays to measure bone strength and help diagnose osteoporosis or fracture risk.
