What Are Laboratory and Pathology Services?
Laboratory and pathology services provide testing and analysis of blood, tissue and other samples to help diagnose disease, monitor health conditions and guide treatment decisions. Accurate, timely results play a critical role in nearly every aspect of care, from routine screenings to complex medical conditions.
At Kaleida Health Laboratories, our team-based approach brings together skilled phlebotomists, laboratory technicians, specimen handlers, laboratory scientists and board-certified pathologists to deliver precise, reliable diagnostic testing. Phlebotomists work directly with patients during blood draws, while our clinical experts carefully process and analyze blood, tissue and other specimens using advanced technology.
Every step — from collection to interpretation — is focused on accuracy and timeliness. The result is clear, dependable information your provider can trust to diagnose conditions, monitor progress and develop the most effective treatment plan for your care.
