On Aug. 11, Olean General Hospital will host its second annual Memorial Butterfly Release at 3 p.m. The event will take place at the St. Francis Heritage Garden at the hospital.

The recent suicide of a local physician highlights a growing problem for the industry: Stress, burnout and other factors are pushing people out of the profession and causing psychological harm.
