Templates
While we continue to work with our Voicebrook partners to improve and build templates, there are temporary options that will allow users to freely dictate gross and diagnosis:
- Blank Gross
- Blank Diagnosis
- Generic Biopsy
- Generic Large (includes cassette summary)
To insert these templates by voice, you can say, “Insert <template name>.”
- Example: “Insert generic biopsy” or “Insert blank gross”
If you need to insert more than one template at a time, you can say, “Insert # part <template name>"
- Example: “Insert 3 part generic biopsy” or “Insert 5 part blank gross”
It is important to use templates to create parts (A., B., C., etc.) to ensure that the "Build diagnosis" command pulls the information from the gross section appropriately.
Hot Keys
Ctrl Z – reverses last action
Ctrl Y – redoes the last action
Ctrl P – opens toggle preview
Alt U – unlocks locked fields
F1, F6 – opens template center
F4 – adds part
F9 – build diagnosis
F10 – Return to Cerner
Pointers
- Click the “?” question mark icon in the top right corner to request assistance.
- "Build Diagnosis" works only when proper templates are used.
- "Remove Part" and "Remove Specimen" should be used if the wrong template is accidentally inserted.
- Dictate “Get error logs” when experiencing issues to record the problem for review.
- If trying to change a cassette to a frozen cassette, dictate “Switch to frozen.”
- When attempting to delete a word or section remember to dictate. “Delete THAT.”
- The tab key and the page up and down keys can be used to move easily throughout the report.
