Ruth Gaul is retiring from her job at Kaleida Health Laboratories after 45 years of service.
She began her career at Millard Fillmore Gates Circle in 1979 as a Medical Technologist student and worked both part-time and full-time throughout her career in the Immunology Department. Ruth became an expert in performing and reading Immunofluorescence through her dedication and daily attention to detail. Ruth's attention to detail also made her one of the best techs when it came to resolving complex orders, solving testing issues and solving problems in general. Her willingness to consult pathologists and other coworkers gained her a reputation for being a, "take charge," leader.
In retirement, Ruth plans to spend time in her newly built home in Lewiston, travel to catch up with out of town family members and enjoy time with her husband Chris, daughter Larissa and son Michael. She is also looking forward to spending some time at the family cabin in the Olcott area.
