OLEAN — Flags of honor have been swaying calmly on the front lawns of Olean General Hospital and Bradford Regional Medical Center for about a week.
More than 100 American flags — and one Canadian flag — each represent a family member, friend or neighbor who has or is serving in the military. The flags will remain on the front lawns of both OGH and BRMC through Memorial Day.
Flags were purchased for $5. Proceeds generated from OGH supported the OGH Auxiliary; proceeds at BRMC supported the Bradford Hospital Foundation.
