Congratulations to Therese Phelan, nurse practitioner at Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute, who was recently recognized for leading with CARE. Recipients of the Leading with CARE award exemplify Kaleida Health values in their daily work, and go above and beyond for their patients, families and coworkers.
Therese's coworkers nominated her for this award, saying:
Therese has gone above and beyond to help us out during the last few months. She has made it very known how available to us she is and we really appreciate it. She has offered an extra pair of hands to all of us every shift she has been here. Her empathy really shows. Oh, and not to mention the coffee she always grabs for us. Therese even offers help with patients that are not on her service.
