Congratulations to Robin McLaughlin, infection prevention nurse, who was recently recognized for leading with CARE. Recipients of the Leading with CARE award exemplify Kaleida Health values in their daily work, and go above and beyond for their patients, families and coworkers.

Robin was taking a walk outside on her lunch break and came across a laboring woman who was heading towards Oishei Children's Hospital from the Conventus Building. The woman stopped Robin and asked her where the ER was as she was "in labor'' and her sister had dropped her off at the wrong door. Robin helped to walk the woman to the correct entrance, made arrangements for a wheelchair transport, and accompanied the woman up to Labor & Delivery to ensure she got to where she needed to be quickly and safely.
