Congratulations to Courier Mike Pastwik, who was recently recognized for leading with CARE. Recipients of the Leading with CARE award exemplify Kaleida Health values in their daily work, and go above and beyond for their patients, families and coworkers.
Mike was nominated by four of his coworkers, who said:
Michael is always cheerful, always offering a nod or a pleasant "hello" to those he encounters throughout his day.
He is the first person called when something out of the ordinary arises, and a willing extra set of hands whenever he is needed. He's also the go-to guy when a driver is unsure of a particular client’s location.
Mike will volunteer his help in any way possible, from carrying coolers to the 2nd floor lab when another courier is overloaded, to actually asking if he can pick up any clients for another driver who is running behind or simply having a bad day.
He is never too busy to help others and he always has a sunny disposition. To be around Michael is a pick-me-up to everyone he sees.
