Congratulations to Lori Perrello and Chris Ferrel, telemetry nurses in the Vascular Intervention Suites (VIS), who were recently recognized for leading with CARE. Recipients of the Leading with CARE award exemplify Kaleida Health values in their daily work, and go above and beyond for their patients, families and coworkers.

I want to tell you what an awesome crew you had working on Friday. Lori did everything right when the clip patient came back from PACU with a pressure of 40. Her quick actions helped us get her back to the lab and tapped in under 45 minutes. Chris stepped up and took over for Lori's patients so she could focus on the clip patient. They got the images quickly and in doing so the patient was taken care of and responded to treatment. And they also cared for the patient's husband who was very scared. I want to thank everyone for leading with CARE and putting our patient first.
