Congratulations to Lawrence Swierczynski and Adrienne Earsing, echo technologists at Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute, who were recently recognized for leading with CARE. Recipients of the Leading with CARE award exemplify Kaleida Health values in their daily work, and go above and beyond for their patients, families and coworkers.
The pair were nominated by a coworker, who said:
I want to tell you what an awesome crew you had working on Friday. A patient came back from the PACU with a pressure of 40. Quick actions helped us get her back to the lab and tapped in under 45 minutes. Adrienne got the images quickly, and in doing so, the patient was taken care of and responded to treatment. Lawrence jumped in to support the centesis. And they also cared for the patient's husband who was very scared. I want to thank everyone for Leading with CARE and putting our patient first.
