Congratulations to Edwin Vazquez, environmental service aide, who was recently recognized for leading with CARE. Recipients of the Leading with CARE award exemplify Kaleida Health values in their daily work, and go above and beyond for their patients, families and coworkers.
One of Edwin's coworkers nominated him for this award, saying:
Edwin Vasquez walked to work the morning of a snow storm in order to make it to work. It took him one hour and 45 mins. He stepped up and took the role of a cleaner in the CVICU - turned room around, mopped floors, emptied trash. Edwin went above and beyond his usual role for the team when they were in need.
