Congratulations to environmental service aide, Crawford Powell, who was recently recognized for leading with CARE. Recipients of the Leading with CARE award exemplify Kaleida Health values in their daily work, and go above and beyond for their patients, families and coworkers.
A coworker nominated Crawford for this award, saying:
Crawford comes to work early every day. He wears a smile no matter the atmosphere. He starts his day by helping the night shift collect trash and linen overflowing in the patient rooms. As the day progresses, he works hard to maintain a clean environment for the patients and staff. Crawford goes beyond his daily assignment on 13 South. Any team member can be struggling and Crawford offers his assistance. He is willing to help anyone without question. He represents the "Leading with CARE" we strive to achieve. In this difficult time, Crawford makes work easier. His gentle tone gives patients, family and staff a calmness. He deserves recognition for his leadership skill.
