Congratulations to Alicia Gray, patient care assistant in the Emergency Department at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital who was recently recognized for leading with CARE. Recipients of the Leading with CARE award exemplify Kaleida Health values in their daily work, and go above and beyond for their patients, families and coworkers.
Alicia's manager received the following comments from one of Alicia's coworkers, "I wanted to let you know that I think Alicia Gray is an outstanding team player. In these trying times of health care I feel that hard work and teamwork should be recognized. In the few short months that I have worked alongside her she ALWAYS provides excellent care to all of our ER patients and family members. Most importantly she has demonstrated a great concern and care for her duties as a PCA. Alicia always has a thorough work ethic and goes above and beyond in handling her assignments and ensures patients are comfortable and aware of everything she is doing for them. Her willingness to go the extra mile for her patients and colleagues make her an excellent addition to our ER team. I am positive that she will continue to be an asset to our TEAM. I am one lucky nurse when I work alongside her. I know the patients in our ER are in great hands.”
