Congratulations to Michelle Chromy, point of care liaison, for being selected November Employee of the Month at Kaleida Health Laboratories. She was selected for her hard work and dedication.
Comments from her nomination include, "Michelle has been a vital employee to the inner workings of our department. Over the last year, Michelle has made prominent efforts to assist in the new glucometer roll-out system-wide, from trouble shooting to keeping track of thousands of certifications. She has worked on numerous point of care projects at DeGraff assisting with validating their new instrumentation. Michelle has been completing the validations of ten new i-STAT instruments for use at Buffalo General and Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo. Most recently, Michelle came to work while she was supposed to be on vacation and assisted in off-site point of care training for the Buffalo school nurses. We are so lucky to have Michelle on our team and know she absolutely deserves the recognition of earning employee of the month."
