The Human Resources team is announcing the following leadership appointments:
Jamie Shrock has joined Kaleida Health as senior director of human resources for Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute and Long Term Care. In this role, Shrock serves as an advisor to the senior leadership team, leads the delivery of human resources programs and services to leaders and team members, and manages a team of HR professionals. Shrock joined Kaleida Health from Circuit Clinical, where she was senior director of people operations and culture and previously worked at Elderwood as director of talent management. 
Renata Filarecki has joined Kaleida Health as senior director of talent acquisition. She leads the strategy of how we attract people to work at Kaleida Health, including employer branding, sourcing, screening, selection and onboarding. Reporting to Filarecki are manager of nurse recruitment, manager of talent acquisition, and employment specialists. Filarecki joins us from Independent Health, where she was talent acquisition and workforce development manager. Previously, she worked in talent acquisition for MGM Resorts International.
Julie McNeil was promoted to manager of talent acquisition. Previously, Julie had been a senior recruiter with Kaleida Health at the Visiting Nursing Association of Western New York for the last four years. In her new role, McNeil will lead the recruiters as they build relationships with hiring officials and leverage our mission, vision, values, work environment, pay and benefits to hire talented caregivers. Prior to Kaleida Health, McNeil worked in a variety of talent acquisition roles including division manager with GHR Travel Nursing.
Xiomara Agard joined Kaleida Health as manager payroll and HR information systems. In her new role, Agard is responsible for planning and directing of payroll processing, including the accurate and timely payments to Kaleida Health employees. In addition, she leads employee data management, functional support of Lawson HR system and HR reporting. Prior to Kaleida Health, Agard was payroll manager at Niagara Lutheran Health Systems Inc. and previously worked for Employer Services Corporation.
Jennifer “Jen” Bader was promoted to supervisor of integrated absence. Bader leads the team of HR professionals who support employees and leaders with leave programs, such as federal family and medical leave, New York Paid Family Leave, disability claims and extended sick bank. Bader joined Kaleida Health in 2022 as an integrated absence specialist. Previously, Bader worked as benefits assistant at Buffalo Medical Group and office manager at UBMD Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
Christina Zilbauer joined Kaleida Health as supervisor of employee benefits. In this leadership role, Zilbauer guides the employee benefits te
am to deliver prompt, efficient and courteous customer service to Kaleida Health employees and retirees. Her team administers employee medical and dental plans, medical and dependent flexible savings accounts, life, accidental death and dismemberment insurances, retirement plans and the EAP program. Prior to Kaleida Health, Zilbauer spent seven years at Highmark BCBS of WNY as a benefits analyst and specialist in employee resources and operations.
