The 11 Day Power Play jersey of Mike Hughes, senior vice president and chief administrative officer at Kaleida Health, is now on display on the pediatric oncology floor at Oishei Children's Hospital. Mike was one of the top three fundraisers for The 11 Day Power Play, raising almost $80,000 for pediatric cancer care in Western New York, and achieving the Guinness World Record for longest hockey game as one of the Frozen 40.
In January, the 11 Day Power Play presented $100,000 for the Roswell Park Oishei Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Program at Oishei Children’s Hospital. In total, $2 million was raised for pediatric cancer programs in Western New York.
