This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the continuous efforts of Great Lakes Integrated Network (GLIN) to enhance patient care and ensure a seamless transition from acute hospital stays to post-acute services.
As a collaborative network of post-acute providers within GLIN, Great Lakes Post Acute is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to its patients. Under the leadership of Paul Shields, DO, CEO and chief medical officer of GLIN, this partnership reinforces the commitment to provide comprehensive and coordinated services throughout the entire continuum of care.
On July 1, 2023, GLIN's clinical services were extended to HighPointe on Michigan, where Ryan Mikac, DO, and his highly skilled team are now available to provide medical care to their patients. Additionally, GLIN is delighted to welcome Rakhi Barkowski, MD, who will join the clinical team at HighPointe on Michigan in the fall. Physicians Jasmeet Gill, MD, and Amandeep Pal, MD, are also offering their expertise and compassionate care to DeGraff Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Facility’s patients.
