Try this Simple Daily Practice
- Step 1: Breathe
- Sit comfortably
- Inhale slowly through your nose for 4 seconds
- Exhale through your mouth for 6 seconds
- Do this for 3-5 breaths
- Step 2: Notice
- Ask:
- What do I hear (birds, traffic, silence)
- What do I feel (tension in shoulders, feet on the ground, breeze in the air)
- What do I see? (colors, shapes, lights)
- Step 3: Check in
- Ask:
- How am I feeling right now?
- What do I need? (A break, water, rest, movement, kindness?)
- Name it &offer it to yourself.
