Try this Simple Daily Practice

  • Step 1: Breathe
      • Sit comfortably
      • Inhale slowly through your nose for 4 seconds
      • Exhale through your mouth for 6 seconds
      • Do this for 3-5 breaths
  • Step 2: Notice
      • Ask:
          • What do I hear (birds, traffic, silence)
          • What do I feel (tension in shoulders, feet on the ground, breeze in the air)
          • What do I see? (colors, shapes, lights)
    • Step 3: Check in
      • Ask: 
        • How am  I feeling right now?
        • What do I need? (A break, water, rest, movement, kindness?)
        • Name it &offer it to yourself.
