Co-workers agree: It's hard to imagine a better choice
Corey Burzynski, senior director of training and development in Kaleida Health’s Learning and Engagement department, calls Human Resources Coordinator Janette Standera "the backbone of Talent Acquisition." He said, "She displays all of the qualities that an Employee of the Year should have. She does what is right and completes tasks even when no one is looking."
In the course of her duties, Janette is oftentimes the face of Kaleida Health for visitors and new hires, and we all know how important first impressions can be. "She greets new hires for pre-employment appointments and helps to keep the team organized in ensuring that new hires have completed all pre-employment requirements," said Burzynski. "She also supports the Larkin location when there are visitors to the second floor and deliveries."
Said a co-worker, "Janette takes the time to make sure she understands all aspects of her job and making sure that all new hires, co-workers and anyone else who comes to the corporate office has exactly what they need or where it can be found."
Another co-worker added, "Janette is an integral part of the KH Talent Acquisition and Corporate HR teams. She is dedicated, reliable and always willing to help out! She is welcoming and always knows how to make others smile."
