She helps all who work with her achieve excellence every day
Late in the day on the Friday before New Year's Eve, a newly hired radiologist at Upper Allegheny Health System (UAHS) was scheduled to be the only resource working the holiday. However, she couldn't start without having been credentialed with a Kaleida Health network identification and an account in the Fuji Rad PACS system.
Even though PACS Administrator Kayla Flick was herself scheduled for PTO that day, and was out of town celebrating the holiday with family, that didn't stop her from stepping up to the plate and going to bat for our patients.
From her nomination:
"Kayla knew how important it was to get this provider ready to take care of patients on New Year’s Eve. She worked with a team of folks to get the information needed to make it all happen. She stayed with the process through the night on Friday and into Saturday, coordinating with Kaleida Health IT security and management, the UAHS credentialing department and our outside vendors to get the job done. By late morning on Saturday, the provider was all set and ready to work.
"Kayla’s ability to work seamlessly with all of the other team members helped make this happen. The great thing about Kayla is that this is not an isolated event. She continues to rise to the occasion, to make sure our patients, clinicians and providers have what they need for outstanding care. She truly helps all of us who work with her achieve excellence every day."
Thank you, Kayla, for your commitment to always leading with CARE!
