Donna’s primary job duty is completion of the New York State (NYS) Pool and Cash Receipts reporting for the Kaleida Health Buffalo hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. This is an important job as accuracy and timeliness are crucial. If the reports are not complete and on time, we run the risk of being assessed a penalty of 25 percent or more. Many times Donna is up against tight time frames to complete the report due to information lag and competing priorities. For more than 12 years Donna has worked to not only complete the monthly reports but also was integral in a NYS audit which lasted more than three years but ultimately provided successful results for Kaleida Health.
