Kaleida Health has tapped Matthew Drake as executive vice president for strategy and partnerships.
Drake previously worked at Rochester Regional Health, where he served as vice president of business development and network growth. In his new post, he remains a member of Kaleida's C-suite team.
His promotion has prompted a search for a new executive vice president and CFO. According to a job description, the position is accountable for financial planning and management for the $2 billion system, coordination of corporate budget forecasts and development of financial management systems and reporting.
Kaleida also announced Dr. Dori Marshall has been named chief medical officer for Oishei Children’s Hospital.
She comes to the post from Erie County Medical Center, where she has held leadership positions including medical director for the adolescent unit and director of inpatient psychiatry and associate chief of service.
A graduate of the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, Marshall is a board-certified psychiatrist who served as president of the UBMD governing board.
In her new role, Marshall will oversee medical affairs at the hospital as well as its pediatric and women’s health ambulatory clinical centers. She takes over for Dr. Stephen Turkovich, who was named president of the hospital last November.
