They are educators, entrepreneurs and attorneys. They entertain us, feed us and help keep us healthy.
Some have day jobs helping their communities; others do so after hours.
Meet the 2023 class of 40 Under 40, chosen from more than 250 nominations.
This marks the 32nd year of the awards, bringing the total number of honorees over the years to 1,280.
The thrust of the awards hasn’t changed since the program’s inception in 1992. The goal has always been to identify 40 men and women — younger than age 40, of course — who are successful in their professions and heavily involved in community activities.
This year's winners will be celebrated at a luncheon Nov. 9 at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center sponsored by Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union and University at Buffalo School of Management.
