Abbey Paulsen, nurse practitioner and primary care provider at Upper Allegheny Health System (UAHS), will lead the March Walk with a Doc at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Hosted by Bradford Regional Medical Center (BRMC) and the Guidance Center (TGC), the walk will take place at Richard E. McDowell Trail on Campus Drive.
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Prior to leading the walk, which is free and open to the public, Paulsen will discuss colorectal cancer and screening guidelines. Anyone interested in participating must register at walkwithadoc.org/Ewaiver.
In case of inclement weather, the walk will be held at the Pitt-Bradford Fitness Center, 300 Campus Drive. Any changes will be announced on the Walk with a Doc Bradford Facebook page the day of the event.
