Mike Wilt, a certified physician assistant and cardiology provider at Upper Allegheny Health System (UAHS), will lead the February Walk with a Doc at 5 p.m. Thursday.
The event, hosted by Bradford Regional Medical Center (BRMC) and The Guidance Center (TGC), will take place at Richard E. McDowell Trail on Campus Drive.
The walk is free and open to everyone. In honor of American Heart Month, participants are encouraged to wear red. Prior to leading the walk, Wilt will discuss the effects of sleep apnea on cardiac health. If interested, register at walkwithadoc.org/Ewaiver.
In case of inclement weather, the walk will be held at the University of Pitt at Bradford Fitness Center, 300 Campus Drive. Any changes will be announced on the Walk with a Doc Bradford Facebook page the day of the event.
