The Guidance Center and Bradford Regional Medical Center will host the September Walk with a Doc program at 5 p.m., Thursday, at Richard E. McDowell Trail on Campus Drive. The walk is open to everyone.
Participants will get to walk with Abbey Paulsen, CRNP from Foothills Medical Group and from The Guidance Center, Karen Kline, CRNP.
Paulsen will lead the conversation for September’s health topic about the importance of quitting smoking and the effects that smoking has on a person’s overall health. After Paulsen and Kline discuss the topic, participants can spend the rest of the time enjoying a healthy walk at their own pace.
Anyone interested in participating can register online at walkwithadoc.org/Ewaiver.
With fall weather approaching, in the case of inclement weather, the University of Pitt at Bradford Fitness Center located at 300 Campus Drive, Bradford, PA 16701, will be used as the alternate indoor location. If a location change is necessary, an announcement will be made on the Walk with a Doc Bradford Facebook Page the day of the event.
