OLEAN, N.Y. — Olean Medical Group (OMG), a Kaleida Health organization, announced the appointment of Dr. Shazia Siddiqi, pediatrics.
Siddiqi will treat patients from newborns to adolescents for common illnesses including upper respiratory infections (URIs), strep throat, ear infections, rashes, sinusitis, conjunctivitis, influenza, RSV, croup and other viral illnesses. Siddiqi will also treat pediatric patients dealing with asthma, diabetes, eczema, allergies, other chronic illnesses as well as wellness and sports physicals.
“We’re excited to welcome Dr. Siddiqi to the Olean Medical Group. She is an experienced, community-oriented physician and will be a great addition to our growing pediatric team,” said Olean Medical Group CEO Chris Strade.
Siddiqi earned her medical degree from Khyber Medical College, Pakistan. She completed both her residency in pediatrics and fellowship in adolescent medicine at Brookdale University Hospital, N.Y. She is American Board certified in pediatrics.
“I’ve been a resident of Olean for about 20 years and I have been practicing pediatric medicine here since 2008,” Siddiqi said. “I love providing care to our local community children. Seeing the smiles and hearing the giggles always makes my day!”
