Congratulations to Juanita Luciano, environmental service aide, who was named the Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute Employee of the Month for October 2021.
From the time she clocks in to the time she clocks out, Juanita is continuously exceeding the expectations of her job. Her can-do attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for others has such a major impact on the flow of the floor.
When Juanita enters a patient's room she enters with a pleasant personality. She informs the patient of exactly what she is going to do, answers every question, and truly shows compassion to those who just need someone to talk to.
According to her nominator, "Every day that Juanita works is a true blessing. The patient rooms are kept to the highest standard, and she cleans the nurses' station and med room daily. Purell dispensers are never empty. When you work with an individual who is so dedicated to her job, it truly makes a huge difference in the work environment for everybody."
