Congratulations to Laura Goetz, an RN in employee health, who was named the Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute Employee of the Month for November 2021.
Laura is completely invested in the care and safety of the employees, residents, volunteers, and medical staff partners that work for and within Kaleida Health. She treats each person as the individual they are and works to ensure they have what they need for their roles. She has a keen attention to detail and ensures that everyone she encounters feels safe and prepared for their duties.
Laura has gained the trust of her peers, leadership, and employees throughout all of Kaleida Health. She is always willing to participate in offsite requests and enjoys helping others. She is a leader within the department. She will assist employees in getting the help they need, point them in the right direction or actively connect them with the right people. Laura has been integral in case managing COVID-19 workflows within the department and coordinating care where needed.

As a result, employees are cared for and regulatory requirements are met. Caring for our employees is a clear and obvious passion for Laura."
