Congratulations to Lindsay Adams, nurse practitioner in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), who was named the Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute Employee of the Month for March 2021.
According to the co-worker who nominated her, "Lindsay is an excellent provider to the patients, rounding and caring for their needs during her shift. She also has a talent for speaking with family, answering questions and showing compassion."
Lindsay's talents and hard work were on full display at the peak of the pandemic when she had patients throughout all of the ICUs. Her special knack for reassuring family, answering questions and showing compassion was extremely important and apparent during the crisis when family were unable to be present in person while their loved one was ill in the ICU.
