Congratulations to Timothy Allen, patient support associate in the BGMC operating rooms, who was named the Buffalo General Medical Center/Gates Vascular Institute Employee of the Month for July 2021.
According to the co-worker who nominated him, "Tim is relatively new to our department but he is well known for his great work and consistency. He is a shining star, a breath of fresh air and an exceptional addition to the operating room."
Tim consistently asks in advance what the OR room will need in regards to patient care, and he makes sure the proper equipment and tools are ready and accessible according to the particular patient's needs. He always communicates with his co-workers and will go above and beyond to make sure the task is completed quickly and correctly. He is pleasant, kind and approachable with both coworkers and patients.
