Barry Martin, pharmacy director of acute services, retires today after 40 years of service with Kaleida Health.
He began his career as a pharmacy intern with Millard Fillmore Gates Circle, and became a highly valued member of the Pharmacy Operations Team as his career progressed. Having graduated from the University at Buffalo's School of Pharmacy, Barry began the Clinical Pharmacy Services Program at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.
Colleagues characterize him as caring, fair and knowledgeable. They note that he always shares his expertise for the benefit of the organization. Barry is also a family man who enjoys spending time with his wife, MaryEllen, his three children and visiting with many brothers and sisters. In his leisure time, he enjoys cross country skiing, pickleball and occasionally sampling beer.
