What is Youth Link?
Youth Link at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo provides inclusive, youth-centered care for adolescents and young adults. We focus on sexual health, mental health and social support, serving youth who identify as LGBTQ+, are living with or at risk for HIV/STIs or are experiencing homelessness, substance use or mental health challenges.
Our multidisciplinary team delivers compassionate, culturally responsive care in a welcoming environment. Through Youth Link, patients have access to medical, behavioral and social services that support healthy development and well-being.

Youth Link is ideal for young people ages 13–24 who need:

- Be PrEPared: A specialized program offering PrEP and PEP services, sexual health education and risk reduction counseling.
- H3: Leaving Our Legacy (L.O.L.): A peer mentorship group for teens and young adults, focused on LGBTQ+ youth of color and allies. L.O.L. connects youth to resources and provides education, guidance and advocacy opportunities.
- H3: Harvest House: A community partner providing culturally sensitive support to strengthen economic, spiritual and social well-being.

Youth Link’s team includes board-certified adolescent medicine physicians, nurse practitioners and medical providers trained in sexual health, HIV care and youth-focused medicine.
Support staff
Case managers, social workers, care coordinators and administrative staff provide guidance, referrals and support for medical and social needs.

Youth Link sees most patients by appointment. Same-day visits may be available for urgent concerns. Call to schedule: (716) 768-7600.

Call the nurse at least five days before medication runs out, press “3.”
Patients will be notified of abnormal results by phone or mail.
Allow 5–7 business days for completion. Provide fax or mailing information if needed.
