What is the NICU Follow-Up Program?
The NICU Follow-up Program is designed to monitor and support the development of babies who experienced prematurity, low birth weight or complex medical conditions during their hospital stay. Our team evaluates growth, feeding, motor skills, cognitive development and overall well-being. Care plans are tailored to each child’s needs and coordinated with families and pediatricians to promote optimal outcomes.

The Care We Provide
Comprehensive developmental assessments
Evaluation of growth, motor skills, feeding, cognitive and social-emotional development, with identification of any developmental delays or concerns.
Growth and nutrition support
Counseling on feeding and nutrition for infants and toddlers, with guidance for parents to promote healthy growth and development.
Therapy referrals
Referral to physical, occupational or speech therapy based on individual needs, coordinated with therapy providers for ongoing care.
Follow-up schedule
An initial visit typically around three months corrected age, with subsequent visits generally every 3 to 6 months until approximately 2 years old, adjusted based on developmental progress.
